#WeLoveSanCarlos

San Carlos full of LOVE at 56             There is always a reason to celebrate life when all things are happening the way it is planned. In Negros Occidental, every time I travel across the translink highway from Bacolod via Salvador Benedicto, it is so refreshing to see a panoramic view of the rice terraces tilled and shaped as it is today, a labor of love by farmers up in the mountains.  It only takes two hours or less depending on the speed and the expertise of the driver to reach the 4 th most lovable city in the world-San Carlos. The World Wildlife Fund recently spearheaded this competition where voting was done through social media , among 46 cities in 20 countries worldwide, San Carlos City was top five as a city where one loves to go around, applies the power of nature with the 59-MW solar power plant inaugurated in April this year, where clean living is a way of life having been a Galing Pook and Clean and Green awardee, where one can experience good food

It was indeed a very colourful election last summer likened to   a town   fiesta where people are so much involved. This is the day where victors gather to a formal ceremony which marks the beginning of their term as public officials. In the recent Inauguration and Oath taking ceremony held at the Provincial Capitol, Governor Alfredo G.
