Summer is not over yet!

It was a fun weekend as we visited one of the best beach resorts in northern Negros recently with tourism officers     for the monthly meeting of the Association of Tourism Officers of Negros Occidental hosted by the City Tourism Office of Cadiz headed by Ms. Juanily Pedrosa.  An hour and a half ride from Bacolod   to Caduhaan where we turn left towards Barangay Cadiz Viejo passing thru Brgy. Burgos for another ten minutes, those taking the bus may ride on a tricycle towards the port right next to the Brgy. Hall, after paying for your round trip ticket and terminal fee plus entrance fee , guests walk towards the 20-30seater   boat for a 15 to 20 minute ride to   Lakawon Island Resort and Spa. Island hopping can be fun just be sure to come on a high tide , so better check your calendars and be in beach wear , wearing pants won’t look good at all, be sure to apply sun block, wear a hat and shades, while swimming you can be on barefoot but for diabetics, it is best you w

Hot summer days would mean its about time to visit places, have fun under the sun and beat the summer heat. Most common attractions in the province are found in Talisay City , located strategically between two cities, Bacolod and Silay. Rich in culture and history and natural resources such as the   Ruins of Don Mariano   Lacson,   which is very accessible from the main highway connecting Lacson Street or the airport road, with well manicured lawn,people get to take pictures with a sight to behold.
